Intro

I know it isn’t easy to make that initial call for help. Many years ago, I sought a positive, safe place in which to make changes in my own life. That journey has granted me a level of empathy and led to the creation of a warm, welcoming environment for my patients. Many of them say my approach is a unique one, which has enabled them to achieve their desired results in life (Please see Testimonials for their own words.)

My style of therapy is a creative mix of cognitive, behavioral and psychodynamic approaches with a dose of humor added into the mix. What does all that mean? The issues or circumstances that bring you into therapy will impact the type of work we do together. For instance, if you have relationship challenges, your goals will be very different then a patient who is experiencing panic attacks. I believe an effective practice combines intuition and knowledge to create the most ideal solution for you, as an individual. This is a journey worth taking, and believe it or not we try to have some fun along the way.

I am pleased to announce that my second book on the subject of Bereavement is now available. No Time for Tears: Surviving Grief in America is a comprehensive guide for people struggling through grief and those who counsel them. To learn more or to purchase the book, just click here.
